Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Fletcher, NC seeks a Team Leader IV - Maintenance for the 3rd shift in our Manufacturing operations. You will coordinate a group of employees to meet production specs, schedules, and quality standards while upholding safety and process discipline.

You will drive continuous improvement, coach less experienced team members, and collaborate with support teams to ensure timely delivery and safe, compliant operations on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of a group of employees to meet production specifications and schedules
• Assist in meeting volume, cost, wastage targets and quality standards
• Promote safety by stopping work to report hazards and maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, policies, and procedures
• Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures (SPC, poka-yoke) to deliver high-quality outputs
• Monitor team performance and coordinate tasks to meet requirements
• Communicate with team members and support teams for smooth operations
• Participate in training and coaching to drive continuous improvement
• Encourage teamwork to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow
