Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor in Angola, IN to lead on-site maintenance operations and ensure safe, efficient production. The role balances hands-on work with leadership duties, overseeing PMs, repairs, tool & die activities, and a small maintenance team.

You will coordinate with production and engineering to minimize downtime, manage work orders, and drive continuous improvement across equipment reliability and maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising 3rd shift in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead union shop floor teams and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Proven skills in preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 3rd shift maintenance operations in a union environment.
• Perform PMs and repairs on rolling mill equipment and presses.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Oversee the Tool & Die department and two team members.
• Supervise two maintenance technicians and assign work.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules.
• Communicate with production and engineering to plan interventions.
• Organize work orders, PM schedules, and repair docs.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and discipline when needed.
• Promote safe work practices and adherence to policies.
• Support improvements in equipment reliability and production performance.
