Job summary

Capstone Search Advisors is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the 3rd shift maintenance team in a manufacturing environment in Dallas, Texas. The role focuses on safe, efficient, and reliable operation of plant machinery and systems.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate with planning, and ensure preventive and predictive maintenance is completed on time while supporting production goals and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience leading or supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of maintenance planning.
• Understanding of asset reliability and lifecycle best practices.
• Knowledge of FDA, USDA, OSHA, and EPA food manufacturing regs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
• Continuous improvement mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective leadership and team development abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the Maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and daily work assignments
• Partner with the Maintenance Planner to prioritize and assign work orders effectively
• Ensure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance is completed on time and meets quality standards
• Adjust priorities to support production needs and minimize downtime
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and labor records
• Promote a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and cGMP standards
• Support cost control initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Uphold food safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
