Lassonde Pappas & Co. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead the maintenance team at our Springdale location. You will drive equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production uptime.

The role requires extensive supervisory experience, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and a proven track record in safety, quality, and cost control. Expect a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of direct supervisory/leadership experience (influencing, coaching, managing through others, developing diverse work teams)
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience with various roles and progressive responsibility
• Demonstrated ability and understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems to include understanding of PLCs and basics programming
• Demonstrated experience and proven track record in continuous improvement and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
• Demonstrated experience in building relationships with internal customers
• Strong team builder and team player (player/coach principle)
• Must be able to communicate effectively written, verbal and in presentation with all levels of the business
• Familiar with Maintenance Reliability and Continuous Improvement tools/techniques
• Familiar with CMMS software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be able to travel 5%. Ability to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be detailed oriented and can multi-task
• Must have excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide clear direction and set expectations for team members to achieve departmental and organizational goals. Perform daily pre-shift meeting with department to ensure proper communication flow.
• Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings, provide constructive feedback, and address performance issues promptly.
• Reads to maintain equipment and schedule needed repairs to minimize downtime and meet production goals.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign work orders to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Consult with Maintenance staff, QA Manager, and Production Manager regarding modifications to improve operations and reduce costs.
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Manage work order program, scheduling and budgeting; backup for maintenance staff and continuous improvement of PM program.
• Make decisions to maintain equipment efficiency and control department spending.
• Manage parts room and process improvements.
• Lead staff with evaluations, attendance, vacations, and disciplinary reviews.
• Perform other related duties as required.
