Job summary

CSP is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at our Huntington, NY facility. You will lead a maintenance team, manage preventative maintenance on production equipment and facilities, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely project execution.

The role focuses on safety leadership, process improvements, and supporting plant initiatives while maintaining strict adherence to PPAP/QS9000 elements and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; mechanical or electrical technology preferred.
• Five+ years of related maintenance experience including supervision.
• Must be open and available to work any shift.
• Experience in a union plant environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver maintenance projects and schedules.
• Provide preventative maintenance for facilities and production equipment.
• Support project launch strategy and PPAP/QS9000 elements.
• Lead safety programs and safety talks; investigate incidents.
• Maintain building, grounds, and utility distribution (water, steam, electricity, gas, compressed air, waste).
• Train and develop skilled trades and apprentices.
• Direct subcontracted vendors and ensure timely completion.
• Contribute to cost savings initiatives.
