CSP is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Huntington, NY site. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical systems and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities.

You will use our maintenance system to create and close work orders, document time and materials, and support cost-saving measures while following all safety guidelines. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented person who thrives in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience and working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot; diagnose; and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Utilize maintenance system for creating and completing work orders.
• Control downtime by informing operation workers of routine preventive maintenance and operation techniques and monitor compliance.
• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment preventative maintenance.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and guidelines without exception.
• Carry out maintenance process per supervisor instructions expeditiously and perform tasks in a professional manner.
• Support work flows, effective layout, and optimum process conditions.
• Provide PM for facilities equipment and production equipment.
• Suggest modifications and improvements to PM.
• Accurately document time and materials on PM forms or work order.
• Determine possible maintenance problems, identify, and repair.
• Monitor equipment performance.
