Job summary

Wheatland Tube, LLC in Rochelle, IL seeks a 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team and ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of all plant equipment. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshoot machinery, and lead technicians to support safe operations onsite in Rochelle, IL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience leading a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Oversee troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant machinery including mills, welders, and material handling equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate emergency repairs.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of components.
• Identify improvements to enhance reliability and cost-effectiveness of maintenance processes.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement.
