Job summary

Crown Battery Mfg. in Fremont, OH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift to coordinate repair and preventive maintenance of all plant equipment. You will interpret company policy, enforce safety rules, and work with production to meet goals.

Responsibilities include scheduling, supervising staff, coordinating PM tasks, and ensuring equipment performance while maintaining Crown Quality System compliance. Weekend/holiday duty may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with safety and environmental training.
• 2–4 years verifiable Plant Maintenance experience; 1 year Supervisory experience or certs.
• High School diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years manufacturing/factory experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, supervision and management.
• Familiar with inspection equipment, gauges and measuring tools.
• Mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversees preventative maintenance, adjustments, set-ups and repairs.
• Establishes/adjusts work schedules to meet production requirements.
• Supervises and trains maintenance personnel on equipment rebuild/repair.
• Coordinates maintenance activities across departments/shifts.
• Monitors productivity and ensures safety and quality objectives.
• Takes over Maintenance Manager responsibilities when needed.
