Job summary

The Economic Development Corporation in Denison, Texas is seeking an inventory clerk to manage the receipt and distribution of repair parts and general supplies. You will use MP2/CMMS/M3 systems to document receiving, perform cycle counts, and help keep accurate stock records.

This on-site role requires forklift operation, basic English literacy, and strong organizational skills. Training on ERP processes will develop logistics and inventory management abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1–3 years related experience.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must pass Microsoft Excel aptitude test.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair parts and supplies into MP2/CMMS/M3 systems and create receiving documents.
• Unload parts from delivery vehicles; operate a forklift safely.
• Prepare outbound materials for shipping; load pallets/crates and strap for shipment.
• Check out/in maintenance tools and radios.
• Check out parts from MP2 CMMS for mechanics/electricians.
• Take cycle counts with handheld scanners and download to MP2 CMMS.
• Track maintenance tools and equipment on log sheets.
• Charge out parts in MP2 to mechanics and supervisors.

• Unload MRO repair parts & general supplies from delivery vehicles. Must be able to operate a forklift safely and effectively.
• Prepare outbound materials for shipping including loading pallets and crates and strapping materials for shipment.
• Check out/check in maintenance tools & radios.
• Check out repair parts & general supplies from the MP2 CMMS system as needed by the mechanics & electricians.
• Take cycle counts of inventory parts using hand-held scanners & download to MP2 CMMS.
• Track maintenance tools and equipment on log sheets.
• Charge out parts in the MP2 system to mechanics and department supervisors/leads.

SKILLS:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) or 1-3 years related experience.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent Microsoft skills required (Must pass Microsoft Excel aptitude test).)
