The Maintenance position performs repair and preventative maintenance tasks on operational equipment, building, and grounds.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4pm - 2am
Compensation: $33.40/hr + $0.30 shift differential
Primary Responsibilities
- Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, air conditioners, etc.
- Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose issue.
- Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts.
- Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.
- Cleans and lubricates parts.
- Coordinates and/or assists in outside repair services.
- Orders replacement parts.
- Inspects complete repairs.
- Maintains records of repair and maintenance.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Responsible for special projects as assigned.
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
- Stooping, standing, and manual dexterity
- Light lifting (occasional 25 lbs or less)
- Heavy lifting (frequent 25 lbs+)
- Assigned safety equipment must be worn at all times (hard hat, safety shoes with metatarsal, safety glasses with side shields, gloves, arm guards)
- Frequent exposure to mechanical moving parts
Minimum Qualifications
Required Experience
- Two years of warehouse experience
- Knowledge of all warehouse equipment and commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a warehouse environment
- Basic measurement competency
- Basic math competency
- Strong work ethic
Required Certifications
- Capable of being certified in assigned equipment (forklift, Raymond side-loader, overhead crane, etc.)
Required Education
- High school graduate or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- One-year of maintenance experience
- PC literacy
- Certified in assigned equipment (forklift, Raymond side-loader, overhead crane, etc.)
