Job summary

Leggett Dynamics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Mechanic Level 3 to cover two shifts (2nd: 12pm–10pm and 3rd: 9pm–7am). You will perform timely repairs, maintain machinery, and install components to keep production lines running and minimize downtime across the plant.

The role requires 24 months of maintenance experience, adherence to lock-out/tag-out safety, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read and write, basic math and computer skills, and strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 24 months of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read, write, and count; basic math, English, and computer skills.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules.
• Follow lock-out/tag-out safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Job description

Overview

Mechanic Level 3 on 2nd and 3rd shift with schedules: two on 3rd shift (9pm–7am) and one on 2nd shift (12pm–10pm). Work up to 10 hours per day, up to 6 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Timely repairs
• Parts and machine assembly
• Maintenance of machinery to reduce and eliminate downtime
• Assist in keeping equipment operational
• Preventative maintenance and inspection tasks
• Complete facility work orders
• Maintain maximum reliability and functionality
• Install, repair, and maintain machinery equipment, physical structures, pipes, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot equipment problems
• Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance
• Construction and renovation work when necessary
• Complete daily work logs and maintenance forms
• Maintain clean work areas and ensure equipment functions correctly after repairs
