Qualifications

• Reads process sheets and blueprints to determine machining.
• Basic knowledge of machining operations and tooling.
• On‑the‑job and classroom training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Reads process sheets, blueprints and sketches to determine machining and setup requirements.
• Mounts work pieces into clamps or fixtures for operation.
• Selects and installs tooling in ports, turrets or magazines and starts machine operation.
• Inspects first article and performs spot checks using gauges and measurement devices.
