Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring a manufacturing lead for on-site work. You will operate and set up precision machining centers, adjust tooling and speeds, and verify parts against blueprints with precision gauges. You’ll document tasks, mentor peers, and uphold EHS and CI standards.

The role requires shift flexibility including 3rd shift and potential overtime; a strong focus on quality and process improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with manufacturing and machining environments is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual/computerized machining centers.
• Adjust feeds, spindle speeds, tooling per manufacturing needs.
• Read blueprints and inspect product with gauges and instruments.
• Document manufacturing data and labor transactions accurately.
• Support EHS, Quality, and CI guidelines and participate in safety activities.
• Work extended shifts/overtime and some holiday hours as needed.
