Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring a 2nd Shift Mechanical Manufacturing Technician I for an onsite role in the US. The position offers entry-level training with no certification required and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants.

The operator will learn setup, operation of production equipment, maintain documentation, and follow safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes learning to assemble components, record parameters, and support continuous improvement while possibly working

Qualifications

• HS Diploma is typically required; if not, 2 years of relevant experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to set up and operate test stands to check nozzles, spray bars, and valves for spray quality, angle, and flow.
• Learn how to set up and operate laser marker and printer according to procedures and specifications.
• Record spray parameters by serial number and certify product conformance through test results.
• Disassemble, repair, and assemble product according to specifications under supervision.
• Accurately complete production documentation and perform necessary labor transitions.
• Follow all EHS, Quality, and CI guidelines set by leadership.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and safety activities as required.
• Work overtime or nonstandard hours as needed by the business.
