Altium Packaging in Thomasville, NC is seeking a Machine Operator for 3rd shift. You will operate blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic maintenance to keep production lines running smoothly.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years of operator experience, plus ability to read blueprints and use calipers and micrometers. Overtime may be required; we offer benefits and career training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of machine operator experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Working knowledge of caliper, micrometer, and other measurement tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Able to work overtime.
• Physically able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and start production cycles.
• Calibrate and adjust machine speeds and settings.
• Operate blow-mold machines and manage conveyors.
• Perform audits and quality checks on outputs.
• Maintain records and enter data into SPC system.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance.
