Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Bowling Green, OH is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to operate and monitor production machinery, produce high-quality driveline components, and uphold safety standards.

You will load and unload materials, perform in-process quality checks with calipers and gauges, document production records, and collaborate with team members to meet daily targets while maintaining a clean, organized work area and following Lockout/Tagout and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and work instructions.
• Able to work on a 3rd shift schedule (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM).
• Lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery according to SOPs.
• Load and unload materials from machines.
• Monitor operation and report malfunctions.
• Conduct in-process quality checks with precision instruments.
• Maintain production records and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and PPE.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets.
• Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
