Job summary

Skybox Packaging, LLC is seeking an on-site Machine Operator for the overnight shift (10 PM–6 AM). You will run production equipment, ensure quality, and perform tool mounting as needed. Job description

HOURS 10 PM to 6 AM (Sunday night through Friday morning)

SOME OVERTIME REQUIRED

$21/HOUR + $2.00 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

Duties

• Responsible for Machine Operation to produce finished goods
• Operate in their responsibility to maintain efficiency and quality.
• Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks using production equipment to ensure steady workflow.
• Perform equipment adjustments
• Mounting of cutting dies, print plates, and any other tooling required for each job.
• Perform quality checks prior to each job assigned and during the production run.
• Maintain documented checklist for quality checks, ink monitoring, and clean up.
• Keep machine setup and run times at maximum efficiency.
• Help troubleshoot any quality or machine issues as they occur.
• Ensure that the equipment is properly maintained, notifying Maintenance and Supervisors of any issues that occur.
• Perform daily and detailed weekly cleanup in accordance with the cleanup checklist.
• Identify, and report any damaged tooling that needs repair.
• Identify product safety concerns and report them to your supervisor.
• Other duties as determined by Plant Superintendent, Shift Supervisor or Shift Lead.

• Experience assisting on multi color flexographic press is preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
