Job summary

Superior Tube, part of AMETEK, is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (12am-8am, Mon-Fri; first shift by seniority). The role involves setting up, operating, and inspecting equipment to produce precision metal tubing for aerospace, defense, and medical applications.

You will participate in TPM, ensure quality via SPC, and support a safe workplace culture with a focus on injury-free operations in an on-site manufacturing facility in Collegeville, PA.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years manufacturing experience with safety practices.
• Experience with metalworking operations is a plus.
• Ability to meet essential physical functions on-site.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, adjust equipment and lay out material.
• Provide safety recommendations to reduce risks and promote an injury-free culture.
• Measure and visually inspect product; apply in-process QC/SPC during processing.
• Perform TPM: clean tooling, check fluids, ensure good order of work centers.
• Change tooling, fluids and media on equipment.
• Handle material transport and maintain production flow.
