Job summary

AMETEK Inc. Superior Tube in Collegeville, PA, is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (12am–8am, Monday–Friday). First shift is by seniority only. The role focuses on safe, efficient production of precision metal tubing and maintaining an injury-free workplace culture.

You will set up and operate equipment, inspect products, perform TPM, and support health, safety, and quality standards in a on-site manufacturing facility. Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or related facilities with knowledge of quality processes and safety procedures.
• Experience with metalworking operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and measurement devices like micrometers or calipers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust equipment per instructions to meet safety, quality, and production standards.
• Measure and visually inspect product; apply in-process quality control and SPC.
• Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM): clean tooling, inspect wear, maintain fluids, ensure good order of work centers.
• Change tooling, fluids and media on equipment operated.
• Assist with material handling to maintain product flow.
