Job summary

Superior Tube, part of AMETEK's Special Metal Products, is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift in Collegeville, PA. The role focuses on setting up, operating, and inspecting equipment to meet health, safety, quality, and production standards in a manufacturing facility.

You will perform TPM tasks, monitor quality with SPC, and handle material flow while adhering to strict safety guidelines. Experience in metalworking is a plus, with on-site work required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial facilities.
• Experience with quality processes and safety procedures is required.
• Experience with metalworking operations is a plus.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements (standing, lifting, bending, etc.).
• On-site position in a manufacturing facility; not remote.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust equipment and lay out material to meet safety, quality, and production standards.
• Visual inspection of product and in-process quality control using SPC methods.
• Perform TPM activities: cleaning tooling, inspecting parts for wear, maintaining fluids and media levels, keeping work centers in good order.
• Change tooling, fluids, and media on equipment as needed.
• Handle and transport materials manually to maintain product flow; follow instructions and safety procedures.
