Job summary

Altium Packaging is hiring a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift in Blue Mountain, MS. You will operate blow-mold, PET, and injection molding machines to manufacture bottles, perform quality inspections, and document production metrics.

The role requires basic math and computer skills, a High School diploma or GED, and completion of Altium production training within 90 days of hire. Overtime may be required. The plant environment is loud and safety PPE is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Blow mold experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines to produce bottles.
• Perform bottle inspections and quality checks.
• Maintain GMP and safety practices; wear PPE as required.
• Prepare and maintain daily production reports and documentation.
• Troubleshoot minor process problems and perform basic maintenance.
• Escalate defects and quality issues immediately.
• Keep work area clean and organized; manage packaging and labeling tasks.
• Assist with routine maintenance and equipment repairs as needed.
