Job summary

Altium Packaging in Blue Mountain, MS is seeking a Machine Operator to run blow-mold, PET, and injection molding machines, ensuring production of quality bottles. You will troubleshoot issues, perform minor maintenance, and follow GMP standards while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

You will also inspect bottles, record daily production data, and assist with preventive maintenance and changeovers. A high school diploma or GED and basic math/PC skills are required, with overtime as

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Blow mold experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines to produce quality bottles.
• Troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and wear PPE as required.
• Conduct bottle inspections, weight checks and quality checks.
• Prepare and document daily production reports (rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies).
• Replenish packaging materials and manage labeling and packaging per customer requirements.
• Escalate bottle abnormalities and quality issues immediately.
• Assist with preventive maintenance introductions and changes to molds and equipment.
