Job summary

Altium Packaging seeks a Machine Operator for 2nd shift at our Blue Mountain, Mississippi plant. You will operate blow-mold, PET, and injection molding machines, perform minor maintenance, and uphold GMP requirements to ensure production of quality bottles.

The role requires basic math, simple computer skills, and prior blow mold experience. You’ll work within a safety-focused environment with opportunities for continuous improvement and training within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Blow mold experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines to produce quality bottles.
• Troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance.
• Follow GMP and safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Prepare and document daily production reports including line efficiencies and rejects.
• Inspect bottles for quality during production, packaging and labeling.
• Move finished goods to designated areas and ensure correct labeling and packaging.
• Assist with maintenance requests and equipment repairs as needed.
• Adhere to plant safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
