Job summary

Greif is hiring for a 3rd Shift Line Operator at the Evergreen site. The role involves preparing job sites, moving materials, operating power tools and machinery, and collaborating with plant staff to maintain efficient production.

You will work 10:40pm–7:00am with a $2.00/hr shift differential. Typical requirements include a high school diploma and basic communication skills, with safety adherence as a daily responsibility.

Qualifications

• Basic verbal and written communication skills are preferred.
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions is essential.
• Ability to work in a variety of roles and adapt to changing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt and handle tools as assigned.
• Operate machinery and load/unload items on lines per directions.
• Perform routine quality checks on finished products.
• Follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.
• Report issues to supervisor promptly.
• Assist with other plant duties as needed.

Job Description:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine activities including, but not limited to preparing job sites, ensuring safety conditions, transporting materials, using power tools and other equipment, building temporary structures, and collaborating with other plant workers.

3rd Shift:

10:40pm-7am

Shift Differential:

$2.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, ready or put away tools as assigned.

• Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply routine materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.

• Performs routine property care activities.

• Performs any non-technical routine tasks at the plant.

• Routine quality checks on finished products.

• Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level colleague.

• Follow safety regulations.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent).

Knowledge and Skills

• Basic verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.

• Ability to work in a variety of roles.
