Job summary

Chestnut Labs seeks a reliable production associate to handle daily line operations at our Minnesota facility. You will prepare, operate, maintain, and stock the assigned station, ensuring smooth production flows and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, operate, maintain, and stock the production line.
  • Maintain equipment and perform adjustments to ensure operation.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and coordinate for maintenance.
  • Monitor quality and make speed adjustments.
  • Adhere to GMP and safety regulations.
  • Report food safety and quality issues to management.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Job description

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare, operate, maintain, and stock assigned production line or station
  • Maintain equipment in full operational status by making adjustments to equipment
  • Ensure operation of equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions and notifying the proper individuals when needed for preventative maintenance or issues needing attention
  • Maintain quality by observing operations and adjusting with speed controls and troubleshooting
  • Maintain and clean equipment according to guidelines and expectations
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Production or general work experience preferred
  • Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
  • Able to effectively work in a team environment
  • Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
