Job summary

Sunrise Systems, Inc. in Ankeny, IA seeks a shift supervisor for the 3rd shift (9:30 pm–6:00 am) to oversee production and people performance in a fast-paced factory environment.

You will coach teams, ensure safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency, and drive 5S and continuous improvement initiatives. Onsite role with required metatarsal boots; Teams interview preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Responsibilities include monitoring production performance and taking corrective action.
• Ensure training, work instructions, and tools are available.
• Support 5S, Continuous Improvement, manpower planning, and budgets.
• No remote work; onsite factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor production and employee performance on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency; take corrective action.
• Establish the employee environment regarding communications, feedback, and guidance.
• Ensure personnel have training, work instructions, and tools.
• Drive department support of factory goals for 5S implementation, Continuous Improvement, manpower planning, and operating budgets.
