Job summary

Swagelok in Solon, OH, is seeking a manufacturing leader for the 3rd shift to direct site operations, safety, cost, quality and delivery goals. You will manage resources and lead a team to produce quality parts on schedule while adhering to Swagelok standards.

Lead with Lean Daily Management, establish clear metrics, and develop staffing plans that align with value streams. Mentor and coach associates, uphold company values, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MRP systems, and data mining/report generation.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Prior leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Lean Daily Management System cadence to achieve operational excellence.
• Establish metrics and goals that are visible and understood.
• Execute based on metrics daily/weekly/monthly.
• Daily management of escalation and problem solving with resources.
• Develop staffing/scheduling plans using capacity/load targets.
• Drive boundary team alignment and accountability across operations and support functions.
• Demonstrate alignment with corporate mission, vision, values and strategies.
• Own and deliver clear messages, connect the dots for associates.
• Demonstrate engagement and relationship building skills.
• Drive change through inspirational leadership and fair policy application.
• Lead quality/continuous improvement efforts and standard work discipline.
