Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Lab Technician – 3rd Shift to join a magnet wire testing laboratory in Franklin, IN. You will perform quality tests on magnet wire, assist in preparing enamels and related chemicals, and analyze data to support continuous improvement in quality and production processes.

The role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), 1+ year GMP experience, and ability to work a 12-hour 2-2-3 night shift; onsite work with exposure to ISO/QS/TS/GMP frameworks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of GMP environment experience.
• At least 1 year in quality or QC laboratory roles.
• Experience with basic laboratory techniques and procedures.
• Willing to work a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 night shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete quality tests on magnet wire and related materials.
• Document results and support investigations and R&D efforts.
• Prepare magnet wire enamels, thinners, lubricants, and related solutions.
• Inspect raw materials and chemical products for compliance.
• Enter data and prepare test reports and charts.
• Operate chemical testing equipment safely to obtain reliable data.
• Analyze results with engineers and implement corrective actions.
• Use quality systems and computer tools to manage data.
• Follow procedures to meet quality and safety goals.
• Maintain accurate records for company reports.
