Job summary

Rea Magnet Wire is seeking a Quality Technician to perform conformance testing, audits, and documentation to ensure product quality and compliance. You will support operations with technical testing and collaborate across departments to meet plant objectives.

The role requires hands-on testing of multiple QC tools, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with all levels of staff on a 12-hour shift pattern (2-2-3). Starting pay is $24.00/hour with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct conformance testing with specified equipment.
• Meet core testing knowledge and competency requirements.
• Meet performance metrics as defined by supervisor/manager.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
• Able to work with all levels to achieve plant objectives.
• Understanding of key problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to conduct effective audits.

Responsibilities

• Test product per required standards.
• Perform process and product audits.
• Document product in material review area.
• Provide proactive technical support to operations.
• Conduct conformance testing and validation activities.
• Collaborate with Scheduling, CSR, Operations, and Distributions.
• Complete assigned projects.
