Souderton, United States — Trotter Workforce is hiring an Ink Technician for the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). Hourly rate is based on experience with a $1 differential for 3rd shift, and compensation discussed during the initial phone screen.

Qualifications

• Experience in ink room, printing, or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong work ethic; able to work independently.
• Attention to color discrimination and color matching.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color pulls and support press approvals to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Stage, deliver, mix, and return inks and adhesives to support press operations.
• Receive, unload, store, and document ink, chemical, solvent, and adhesive deliveries.
• Manage hazardous waste shipments and maintain satellite accumulation areas per regulations.
• Mix inks and adhesives, open/close drums, weigh materials, and complete documentation.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory records.
• Maintain housekeeping to prevent accidents and spills in ink/solvent areas.
• Operate forklifts and hand trucks to move materials safely.
• Cross-train in other departments to support production and train new hires.
