Job summary

siffron in Des Plaines, IL is seeking an Injection Molding Operator for the 3rd shift (10:00pm – 6:00am). You will set up and run molding machines, load molds, and monitor auxiliary equipment.

You will troubleshoot process issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced production cell. The role requires at least 1 year of hands-on experience with injection molding, ability to read blueprints, and willingness to work across shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend work orders.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run injection molding machines and basic process steps.
• Safely remove and set up molds in injection molding machines.
• Monitor and operate auxiliary molding equipment (grinders, chillers, loaders, robots).
• Troubleshoot process issues and adjust to maintain production and quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment per schedule.
• Adhere to safety and quality policies; report concerns.
