Job summary

siffron Des Plaines is seeking an Injection Molding Operator for the 10:00pm–6:00am shift to set up, run, and monitor molding machinery and auxiliary equipment. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production that meets quality and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include adjusting process, performing preventative maintenance, reading blueprints, and coordinating with the next shift. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in setting up and running injection molding machines
• Must be self-directed with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience with some maintenance in a manufacturing facility

Responsibilities

• Set up and run injection molding machines and basic process steps
• Safely remove and set up molds and monitor auxiliary equipment
• Troubleshoot process issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Review status, document reports, and communicate with next shift
• Read blueprints and operate from technical documentation
