Job summary

Ultrafab South (UFS) in Greer, South Carolina, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, while performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will read schematics, document work orders, and support reliability improvements. Prior manufacturing maintenance experience and the ability to work independently are required; PLC troubleshooting and welding are a plus.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs effectively.
• Preferred: PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs
• Diagnose production equipment issues and minimize downtime
• Work with motors, controls, sensors, conveyors, and related equipment
• Read electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation
• Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement efforts
