Job summary

POLYWOOD® is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment, facilities, and people stay safe and productive. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical problems, support PLC-controlled equipment, and perform preventive maintenance on a late shift with a strong safety culture.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, PLC troubleshooting skills, and a solid grasp of electrical schematics and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Advanced troubleshooting of electrical controls systems including PLCs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical controls, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including I/O, sensors, VFDs, HMIs, safety circuits.
• Perform electrical diagnostics on industrial power systems (120–480V).
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Read diagrams and technical documentation to implement improvements.
• Support off-shift maintenance and operate independently when needed.
