POLYWOOD® is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in a hands-on, team‑oriented environment to keep equipment, facilities, and people safe. Emphasis on problem solving, preventive maintenance, and strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Advanced troubleshooting of electrical controls systems including PLCs and related components.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control panels, wiring methods.
• Experience with PLC platforms (Rockwell/Siemens) and motor control components.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical controls, mechanical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime on 2nd shift.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including I/O, sensors, VFDs, HMIs, safety circuits, and motor controls.
• Perform electrical diagnostics on 120–480V circuits and power systems.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Support CNC machinery, heating elements, and pneumatic systems; interpret electrical schematics.
