Job summary
Ppswork in Sarasota, FL seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and hands-on PLC experience to maintain and repair industrial production equipment.
The role includes 3rd shift Monday-Friday with overtime on Saturdays, working with Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLCs, conveyors, 480V 3-phase systems, and the optical sorting line in a glass recycling facility, plus general labor tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting in an industrial setting.
- Experience with PLCs (Siemens/Allen-Bradley) preferred.
- Ability to work night shift (3rd shift) with overtime on Saturday.
- Experience with glass recycling/ sorting equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and rewire electrical systems and components.
- Program and operate PLCs and conveyors.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the optical sorting line.
