Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift at a high-volume manufacturing facility in Swedesboro, NJ. The role covers troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and ensure safe operations.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience and can read P&IDs, schematics, and equipment manuals. Weekend availability is required and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience involving industrial or manufacturing machinery, or five years of equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, equipment manuals, and machine layout drawings.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, and/or food-manufacturing process controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related problems.
• Complete or assist with major equipment overhauls, system rebuilds, and equipment installations.
• Work closely with production personnel and outside contractors to coordinate repairs and minimize operational disruptions.
• Safely operate forklifts, lifts, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other maintenance machinery.
• Accurately document completed work, equipment conditions, and maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system.
