Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift in a high-volume manufacturing facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and preventive maintenance of production equipment to maximize uptime and support safe operations.

You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing and PLC-related issues; perform overhauls, coordinate with production and outside contractors, and document work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing settings or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and mechanical diagrams.
• Experience in two or more areas: Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Plumbing, or food-manufacturing process controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related problems.
• Complete or assist with major equipment overhauls, system rebuilds, and installations.
• Coordinate repairs with production and outside contractors to minimize downtime.
• Safely operate forklifts, lifts, and diagnostic tools; document work and equipment conditions in CMMS.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow GMP, safety, and regulatory standards.
