Schedule: Sunday-Thursday from 3:00pm-11:00pm

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Perform a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance work to repair Sharp’s converting, printing, and extruding equipment with emphasis on troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic problems, replacing faulty electrical components, installing new machines and equipment, programming PLCs, maintaining electrical equipment, and managing parts and supplies inventories.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive work assignments from Supervisor, Lead person, or scheduling tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Conduct general mechanical and electrical maintenance of equipment, building, and grounds.
• Plan and execute assigned tasks and special projects, ensuring timelines are met.
• Ensure accuracy of data generated.
• Maintain professional communication and actions.
• Verify job completion documentation for root cause analysis.
• Source parts, equipment, and materials; obtain pricing for maintenance purchases.
• Maintain and replenish spare parts inventories to ensure production uptime.
• Perform tool & die and fixture jobs as needed.
• Assist in cross-training colleagues.
• Maintain departmental organization following 5S principles.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Perform all job functions safely and report accidents, injuries, unsafe practices or conditions.

COMPETENCIES

• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel and SAP (preferred).
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Proficiency with gauges and measuring instruments.
• Good mechanical skills and tooling knowledge.
• Understanding of machine control systems and electrical schematics.
• Lean manufacturing experience (preferred).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
