Job summary

JTM Foods, LLC in Erie, PA is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift to keep production lines running smoothly and safely. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, quick response to breakdowns, PLC troubleshooting, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Install, modify, and improve manufacturing equipment.
• Perform welding and light fabrication as needed.
• Maintain building systems and facility equipment.
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
