Job summary

JTM Foods, LLC in Erie, PA is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic on the 3rd shift to keep production lines running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement in a team-focused, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred; welding and fabrication a plus.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment
• Install, modify, and improve manufacturing equipment
• Perform welding and light fabrication as needed
• Maintain building systems and facility equipment
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
