Job summary

JTM Foods, LLC in Wichita, KS is seeking a 3rd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to keep production lines running safely and efficiently. This role focuses on troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, performing preventative maintenance, and responding quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience required
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance needs
• Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented
• Commitment to safety and quality

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment
• Install, modify, and improve manufacturing equipment
• Perform welding and light fabrication as needed
• Maintain building systems and facility equipment
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety, food safety, and quality requirements

As a 3rd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment that keeps our production lines operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience required


• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills


• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics


• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred


• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
