Job summary

Baxter is seeking an HVAC Technician in Maintenance - Manufacturing to ensure safe, efficient operation of plant equipment. The role involves hands-on maintenance, supporting energy reduction initiatives, and collaborating with engineering teams to implement changes.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 5+ years in mechanical maintenance, and basic English communication. Travel and on-site work are possible as needed. This full-time position offers industry-leading benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC certification within 6 months of start.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical systems repair or industrial maintenance.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support PMT, TPM and energy reduction initiatives as part of the maintenance team.
• Coordinate with Engineering for equipment modifications and document change controls.
• Contribute to safety solutions and maintain a safe work environment.
• Train maintenance operators on SOPs and standard work.
• Develop and apply predictive maintenance tools and training for staff.
• Develop standard tools and procedures for equipment checks and setups.
• Perform preventative maintenance and analyze machine failures for root causes.
• Assist in annual inspections and monitor parts spending.
