Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking an HVAC Technician, Maintenance - Manufacturing in North Carolina. The role ensures safe and efficient operation of plant equipment, with hands-on maintenance and reliability initiatives.

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 7pm - 3am. Training and certifications expected, including universal HVAC certification within 6 months. You will collaborate with Engineering, support energy reduction projects, and maintain documentation (CMR/EWR).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Associates degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical systems repair or industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain universal HVAC certification within 6 months.
• Basic English written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supports PMT, TPM, and energy reduction activities through team membership and project work.
• Coordinate with Engineering and perform equipment modifications with required change control documentation.
• Participate in safety solutions and ensure a safe work environment.
• Serve as lead technician on floor for installation support and training.
• Develop standard work for troubleshooting and setups/changeovers; diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Monitor and analyze parts spending and reliability trends; use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot PLCs and servos.
