Job summary

Kelly is seeking a hands-on 3rd shift Group Lead in Huntsville, AL to support daily production, keep operations safe and efficient, and ensure quality standards are met.

You will remove obstacles, coach team members, lead daily meetings, and drive continuous improvement using Lean and 5S while coordinating staffing and training.

The position pays $22–$24 per hour with a shift differential, offers a full benefits package, overtime as needed, and opportunities to grow within the manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams and implementing lean principles.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with standard work, problem solving, and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production and quickly address issues that impact productivity.
• Identify and remove barriers that prevent operators from completing their work effectively.
• Escalate production, quality, and equipment concerns when needed.
• Assist with problem-solving and root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Promote continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
• Monitor and audit standard work practices to ensure compliance.
• Maintain and update department performance boards and visual management tools.
• Support workplace organization using Lean and 5S principles.
• Complete daily assignments based on production priorities.
• Be available to work overtime when business needs require it.
