Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Process Operator I for the 3rd shift. You will set up, adjust, maintain and operate various equipment such as automatic glass washers, depyrogenation tunnels, cappers, tray loaders, and automatic bag openers.

You will ensure compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and safety regulations. The role requires training others as needed, accurate batch records, and strong attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and/or decimals.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment at start of lot.
• Verifies incoming components for correctness using Order Number.
• Set up and operates equipment throughout shift.
• Monitors parameters such as machine speed, water pressure and temperature; records as required by SOPs and cGMPs.
• Clean and clears equipment and work area at start and end of each production run.
• Maintains quality of machine output and reports deviations to the area supervisor or designee.
• Completes batch record and logbook paperwork.
• Trains individuals on equipment when required.
• Maintains general housekeeping of equipment and area during shift.
• Works overtime as required to support business needs.
