Job summary

KRE Security in Pottstown, PA is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM and 10:00 PM–6:00 AM). You’ll help maintain a safe, respectful environment for clients and staff, working closely with on-site teams to deter disturbances and respond appropriately.

The ideal candidate is dependable, calm under pressure, and able to show empathy and strong communication.

Part-Time Security Officer – Pottstown, PA

Saturday/Sunday | 2:00 PM-10:00 PM & 10:00 PM–6:00 AM | Part-Time

We’re hiring a Security Officer for a client in Pottstown, PA that provides important services to an underserved population. This is more than a typical security position. You’ll work closely with the client’s staff to help maintain a safe, secure, and supportive environment for the people they serve.

What You’ll Do

Your primary focus will be exterior patrols, observation, communication, and teamwork. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular exterior patrols of the property, grounds, parking areas, and designated areas.
• Maintaining a visible security presence.
• Working in pairs as required by site procedures.
• Supporting the client's staff during challenging or difficult situations.
• Responding appropriately to disturbances, security concerns, and other incidents.
• Observing and reporting unusual or potentially unsafe activity.
• Helping maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
• Communicating clearly with client personnel and your security team.
• Completing accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Following site-specific post orders, procedures, and client requirements.
• Obtaining and maintaining required certifications and clearances.

Required Site Certification

Employees must be willing to obtain Phazzer non-lethal CEW certification as required by the site. Training and certification must be completed to meet site requirements for assigned shifts.
