Job summary

KRE Security is seeking a Weekend Overnight Security Officer for a senior living facility in Zieglerville, PA. The role runs Saturday and Sunday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM as a part-time position, focusing on safety, accessibility, and resident well-being.

Responsibilities include patrols, alarm responses, and rapport with residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive, and capable of reporting clearly and promptly.

• Contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when necessary.
• Assist residents, staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow post orders, site procedures, and client security requirements.

What Does Overnight Security Look Like Here?

Once the evening settles in, your role becomes an important part of keeping the community safe and secure.

Overnight security in a senior living environment can be a mix of routine patrols, resident and staff interactions, safety checks, and responding when something unexpected happens.

You may be responsible for:

• Conducting mobile patrols of the property, parking areas, and surrounding grounds.
• Conducting walking patrols throughout designated areas of the facility.
• Checking doors, entrances, access points, and other designated areas.
• Responding to alarms and investigating security or safety concerns.
• Maintaining awareness of activity throughout the property.
• Completing accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when necessary.
• Assisting residents, staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Following all post orders, site procedures, and client security requirements.
• Obtaining and maintaining clearances required by the client contract.

Some nights may be quiet and routine. Other nights may require you to think on your feet, remain calm, and take appropriate action.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands that security isn't just about watching a property — it's about looking out for people.

Security experience is a plus, but we're looking for people with the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to do the job well.

What We Offer

• Weekend overnight schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 7 PM–7 AM.
• PTO accrual: Paid PTO is accrued based on hours worked, up to a maximum of 40 hours.
• Additional hours may be available: Opportunities to pick up additional hours may arise at this site, providing flexibility for employees who are interested in working beyond their regularly scheduled shifts.
