Job summary

KRE Security in Pottstown, PA is seeking a PT Security Officer for Saturday/Sunday shifts on site. You will perform exterior patrols, observe and report activity, and support staff to keep the environment safe and respectful for clients and visitors.

The ideal candidate is calm, empathetic, and a strong communicator who works well with a partner and understands client requirements. Training and certifications may be required.

PT Second and Third Shift Security Officer – Pottstown, PA

Saturday/Sunday | 2:00 PM-10:00 PM Part-Time
Saturday/Sunday | 10:00 PM- 6 AM Part-Time

We’re hiring a Security Officer for a client in Pottstown, PA that provides important services to an underserved population. This is more than a typical security position. You’ll work closely with the client’s staff to help maintain a safe, secure, and supportive environment for the people they serve.

What You'll Do

Your primary focus will be exterior patrols, observation, communication, and teamwork. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular exterior patrols of the property, grounds, parking areas, and designated areas.
• Maintaining a visible security presence.
• Working in pairs as required by site procedures.
• Supporting the client's staff during challenging or difficult situations.
• Responding appropriately to disturbances, security concerns, and other incidents.
• Observing and reporting unusual or potentially unsafe activity.
• Helping maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
• Communicating clearly with client personnel and your security team.
• Completing accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Following site-specific post orders, procedures, and client requirements.
• Obtaining and maintaining required certifications and clearances.

Required Site Certification

Employees must be willing to obtain Phazzer non-lethal CEW certification as required by the site. Training and certification must be completed to meet site requirements for assigned shifts.
