Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is actively seeking a Forklift Driver for a full-time, third-shift opening in our Georgia facility. You will support loading/unloading, warehousing, and feeding production lines in a fast-paced packaging operation.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, forklift certification with 3–5 years’ experience, fluency in English, and the ability to read a tape measure. A background check and drug screen are required. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification with 3-5 years forklift experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Read and understand an order spec sheet; read a tape measure.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks; warehousing product and materials and supplying production lines safely and efficiently.
• Ensure units are banded properly with visible load tags and no broken/missing straps.
• Perform last visual quality inspections and ensure counts and paperwork are accurate.
• Train on computerized scanner for inventory control and assist unloading as needed.
